Don’t Wait, Make Your Own Story…
I am a Black and Filipino California native, who has a passion for writing and editing.
I am an English major at the University of California, Davis, and I am set to graduate in a few weeks. During my time at Davis, I have studied a range of short stories and novels, and I hope to publish my own soon.
I was involved in the Aggie Fiction Writing Workshop Club from Winter of 2020 to Spring of 2023, starting out as a general member before joining the Board, and eventually becoming the Club President from June 2021 to June 2023. During my time of being involved with the club, I helped create numerous writing activities, ran both general and board meetings, and facilitated and participated in workshops where club members read and discussed a volunteer’s story and offered suggestions of improvement. My time in this club, along with my work as an English major, has helped improved my editing and writing skills by providing me with years of practice and ideas on how to improve my craft.
I am interested in multiple fictional genres, notably horror, psychological thrillers, and fantasy, and I have a deep respect for authors in all modes of writing, from prose to comics, and am interested in exploring these different modes.
My writing journey began in Fanfiction, and I respect these authors as well. Fanfiction allows for inspiring authors to get their feet wet in terms of writing and encourages these authors to write their own story. Fanfiction has helped me find my love for writing and exposed me to writing I had previously never experienced. Home: An exercise labeled “#BookIdeas”, in which I create story prompts that others may freely use. This section works to encourage others to write their own stories by giving them a general idea to build off of.

Thoughts and Opinions: A Blog about various novels, movies, and TV shows where I provide my own analysis on the work and suggestions on where the story could go from where it left off.
My Stance on Fanfiction: A page where I detail my views on Fanfiction and my belief in its importance in the literary community.
Recommendations: Lists of novels, movies, and TV shows that I recommend to others, with each list based on a specific theme/genre.
